Vote: Should Pitchers Keep the Baseball After Giving Up Their First Major League Home Run?

It was a night of first's for Pedro Hernandez against the Red Sox on Wednesday. His first major league start, his first major league pitch, his first major league strikeout. It was also the night of his first major league home run allowed (and his second and third), so he will have plenty of memories.

While players often keep the baseballs from memorable moments in their careers — for example, a pitcher's first strikeout — they don't usually keep the balls from bad times. Should they?

NESN Nation's Dan Duquette asked our Twitter followers if Hernandez should try to track down his first major league home run allowed and stash it away as a keepsake. See what fans had to say in the video above.

Would you want to keep the first major league home run you gave up?
