Jim Harbaugh Seems to Have a Headache From NFL's Replacement OfficialsThe NFL's replacement referees have gone from inconsistent to … unbearable?

Frustration with the job the backup zebras have done is quickly mounting among NFL fans, players and coaches. And while 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh made it clear he didn't plan on commenting about the officials, his postgame comments following San Francisco's 20-9 loss on Friday were still quite revealing.

"Our guys, as they do a lot, they tightened up toward the red zone and held them to field goals. Big interference call in third quarter was some big yardage on that drive," Harbaugh told reporters. "I don't know. It's interesting. I don't have the pulse on this game. What was it exactly? Us? Them? Some crazy, wild calls. Were they accurate? Weren't they? We'll see. I have a headache [from yelling], though. I have a darned headache. A lot them [the calls] didn't seem like they were in the ballpark."

Harbaugh stopped short of calling out the officials directly (sort of), but his opinion on the replacement refs is obvious. Not only is he skeptical, but they're also proving to be a detriment to his health.

For everyone's sake, including Harbaugh's, let's hope the real refs return before long.
