Jim Irsay Tweets 'Serious Trade Winds Swirling,' Colts Could Be Making Move for Maurice Jones-DrewIndianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay loves Twitter, and he's never afraid to share exactly what he's thinking. On Thursday, the outspoken owner decided to give his followers the scoop on a potential blockbuster trade.

Irsay, who was very transparent on Twitter during the Colts' Peyton Manning decision this past winter, tweeted on Thursday night "TRADE WINDS BLOWING." He followed that up with a tweet explaining that the Colts were in discussions about acquiring a "SERIOUS vet/starter."

After a 10 minute delay Irsay warmed up the social media wire once again, saying that Colts general manager Ryan Grigson "isn't afraid to roll the dice" and that Irsay's own "check book stands ready."

All the caps lock love might make your head hurt, but upon further dissection there might be some even deeper suggestions than meet the eye.

Irsay's claim that trade winds were blowing, which he followed up with a caps lock laden "SERIOUS TRADE WINDS" tweet moments later, makes it seem that there is a major deal in the works. Then there's the indication of a serious veteran starter involved, which could be a hint at only the most sought-after man in the game at the current time — Maurice Jones-Drew.

MoJo has stated in recent days that he's "unhappy" with his current situation, as Jaguars owner Shad Khan has given the Pro Bowl running back somewhat of an ultimatum with his "train is leaving the station" comment at a news conference on Tuesday.

The Colts also have a need at running back, with Donald Brown and Mewelde Moore the only two legitimate backs on the roster, which would make even more sense for the Drew deal to go down.

Whatever this deal actually is, it seems to have some legs and could be a big move for a rebuilding Colts franchise in need of some more impact players.
