LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Company Share Jubilation Over Gold Medal on TwitterBasketball fans may have thought it was too close, but by the time the final buzzer sounded, Team USA had gotten it done and brought home the gold medal for men's basketball by beating Spain 107-100.

Kevin Durant dropped 30 points to become the all-time single-Olympics scoring champ, while LeBron James scored several crucial points near the end of the game and passed Michael Jordan to move into second on the all-time Olympics scoring list for Americans.

It was the second consecutive gold medal and fourth in the past five Olympics for Team USA, which infamously won only a bronze in 2004 following a disastrous loss to Puerto Rico.

Unsurprisingly, the team took to Twitter to revel in its golden success — and the players were joined by fellow athletes and celebrities in their jubilation. Check out some of their tweets below.
