Lolo Jones Fails to Medal in 100-Meter Hurdles, as Australia’s Sally Pearson Wins Gold (Photo)

Despite all the hype leading up to the 100-meter hurdles, Lolo Jones of the United States has come up empty.

The hurdler finished fourth in the event on Tuesday in London, as Australia's Sally Pearson set an Olmypic record en route to gold, cross the line in 12.35 seconds.

The United States' Dawn Harper — the defending Olympic champion — won silver with a time of 12.37. Kellie Wells (12.48) of the USA got the bronze medal while Jones crossed the line at 12.58.
