The Seattle Mariners' bargain price for Ichiro Suzuki wasn't low enough for at least one man.

The Seattle TImes reporters that a burglar broke into the M's team store early Wednesday morning and stole 16 Ichiro jerseys.

A month or two ago, that would make some sense. Suzuki is arguably the most popular player in club history (although Ken Griffey Jr. might have something to say about that), and his jersey would obviously be pretty valuable.

However, he was, of course, traded to the New York Yankees in late July. Because of that, the Mariners slashed the price on the Ichiro jersey in half — down from $240.
