Minor League Umpire Doesn’t Like ‘Three Blind Mice’ Being Played, Ejects PA Announcer From Game (Video)

Mario Seneca needs a hug, and needs a hug in the worst way.

The minor league umpire, who can’t take a joke apparently, made news for being way too uptight on Wednesday night. He was the umpire who ejected a minor league PA announcer for playing “Three Blind Mice” during a Daytona Cubs game.

The song reportedly started playing after a questionable call. Seneca, who is apparently well-versed in nursery rhymes, immediately recognized the song. And then, in even quicker fashion, he put together that he and his fellow men in blue were the butt end of this musical joke.

With that, the PA man got the gate.
