Shaquille O’Neal Dominated With Dream Team II at World Championship of Basketball in 1994 (Video)

The U.S. men’s basketball team’s work was not complete after the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.

Dream Team II came along two years later with another squad stacked with stars. Mark Price, Joe Dumars, Larry Johnson, Reggie Miller and others easily captured another international prize for the U.S. at the World Championships of Basketball in Toronto.

While the antics of Shawn Kemp and a select few others have overshadowed the class and skill of the second Dream Team, the 1994 roster might have been even more athletic than the 1992 version. High-fliers like Dominique Wilkins and Kevin Johnson joined Kemp and Shaquille O’Neal to clinch another world title 18 years ago Tuesday. O’Neal took home the tournament’s Most Valuable Player award.
