Rumor has it, Abby Wambach likes having a beer or two.

So when a brewer in Great Falls, Mont., heard that the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team star was heading to his hometown, he created “Abby’s Urbock,” according to KRTV.

Evan Bowser of the Bowser Brewing Company wanted to honor Wambach, who spent several days in Great Falls last week.

“Bowser says it’s perfect for Wambach because it looks harmless and is smooth, but it has quite a kick with seven percent alcohol content,” the report says.

Wambach reportedly heard that Abby’s Urbock was being produced, so she stopped by the Bowser Brewing Company for a glass. Bowser described her as “really down to earth” in comments he made to KRTV.

Wambach’s national team striker partner Alex Morgan pointed to Wambach as the teammate who enjoys having a few drinks, during an interview on Access Hollywoood.

It only makes sense that Bowser would honor Wambach, who received a black eye trying to secure Olympic gold, in the best way he knows how.

Wambach is back to work with the national team, as it is playing a series of exhibitions on a “victory tour.” Head coach Pia Sundhage is set to step down, and leave the task of winning the FIFA Women’s World Cup to a new leader. Whoever that turns out to be will do well to depend on the player who inspired Abby’s Urbock.
