Aly Raisman has become a global icon seemingly overnight, and she now has red carpet treatment to look forward to.
Raisman received that treatment on Thursday night. The U.S. gold medalist and Needham, Mass., native was on hand for the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, and she was able to rub elbows with some big time celebrities.
Raisman is a celebrity now in her own right, so it’s hard to forget she’s still just 18 years old, but she is. And what 18-year-old girl wouldn’t be ecstatic about meeting Chris Brown and Taylor Swift nowadays?
