Amy Latimer Named New President of TD Garden

Amy Latimer Named New President of TD GardenAmy Latimer is now the president of one of the most well-known sporting venues in all of America.

Latimer, senior vice president of sales and marketing for TD Garden and the Boston Bruins, has been named the new president of the TD Garden. 

The announcement was made Thursday by Delaware North Companies Boston and Delaware North Companies International president John Wentzell

Delaware North Companies owns TD Garden.

"We are very fortunate to have such a seasoned and respected leader as Amy seamlessly taking the reins of our Boston area business," Wentzell said. "Over the past six years as senior vice president of sales and marketing, she's had substantive, far-reaching impacts across our TD Garden and Boston Bruins businesses including key innovations in premium seating and hospitality product development and sales, unique industry-first ticketing and sponsorship strategies adn the recent launch of Boston Bruins Digital Network, the highly regarded integrated digital, social and mobile strategy of the team.

"The TD Garden arena and our clients will be in very capable hands with Amy," he said.

Latimer is ready to take on the new role as well.

"This is an exciting new challenge," she said. "TD Garden is already one of the most active, highly regarded and successful venues in the country. It is an honor to manage the home of two of the most prestigious professional sports teams, the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics, as well as a dynamic schedule of concerts and events. Boston has some of the most loyal and dedicated fans and they have come to expect a world class experience when they come to the TD Garden. I'm looking forward to continuing the arena's track record of success, and leading the most talented and innovative team in the business."

As president of the Garden, Latimer will be responsible for all day-to-day operating functions of the arena.
