Foot Locker Responds to Brandon Spikes' Comments, Confirms Employees Have Been at WorkThe NFL’s replacement referees have been the focus of a lot of talk.

Week 3 had some of the biggest controversy, headlined by the Patriots and Ravens on Sunday night and culminating with Monday’s debacle between the Packers and Seahawks. But Foot Locker wants everyone to know that its employees should not be implicated in the mess.

After the Patriots’ 31-30 loss to the Ravens on Sunday, linebacker Brandon Spikes took to Twitter, referring to the refs as “zebras” and saying Foot Locker called and wanted them back at work.

Foot Locker has now responded, squashing that rumor with a tweet of its own.

Looks like Spikes will need to get a second source next time.
