Greg Jennings is arguably one of the most dominant receivers in the NFL, but the argument can now be made that he’s also the freshest-smelling.
Jennings, who had yet another impressive season in 2011, has caught the attention of defenses around the league with his breakaway speed and Velcro-like hands. He’s now racked up five straight seasons of at least 50 catches and 900 yards receiving while hauling in nine touchdowns or more in four of those seasons as well.
Off the field, Jennings, who is typically best known by his voiced-over, broken-legged video game avatar, is now also attacking the senses of unsuspecting fans as well.
In a new Old Spice commercial that debuted this week, Jennings is featured frolicking around with a golden retriever on a fake football field set up to resemble the historic Lambeau Field. The two-time Pro Bowler plays Frisbee with the dog, who is inexplicably named “Roscoe,” to the tune of an epic score before delving into a deep, satirical monologue about the product.
