Jerry Jones Claims He Didn't See Packers-Seahawks Finish, Says First Three Weeks Have Been 'Great'Maybe the NFL owners are operating under the assumption that if they ignore the league's officiating problem, it won't actually exist. That's what it sounds like Jerry Jones is doing, at least.

The Cowboys owner is alleging that he didn't even see or hear about Monday night's Packers-Seahawks game until Tuesday morning.

"I didn't see that ending last night," Jones told KRLD-FM on Tuesday morning, according to ESPN.com. "I cut it off about halftime.

"I just read a little note in the paper that the Seahawks pulled it out."

Oh. OK.

Jones, one of the league's most influential owners, is seen as being at the forefront of a group of owners that has locked out the league's regular officials. The season's first three weeks have been a total mess in terms of officiating, but that sounds like something Jones is fine with.

He says that, while the group is supposedly working to get a deal done, he's not exactly upset at where the league is.

"We can have all kinds of what-ifs," he said in his radio interview. "We've played three games, and we've got 16 to play. It's exciting. It gives us a lot to talk about on our shows that we have. But fundamentally, when I look at where the league is over the first three ballgames, it's great. Lot of competition."
