Not even the prayers of Tim Tebow could save this Jets season.

Last week, Darrelle Revis went down with a season-ending knee injury, and on Sunday it looked like Santonio Holmes might have suffered a similar fate.

At least when Darrelle Revis went down, it didn't immediately result in a touchdown.

Holmes caught a Mark Sanchez pass and immediately crumpled to the ground holding his knee — but not before coughing up the football. 49ers cornerback Carlos Rogers scooped up the ball and returned it 51 yards for a touchdown. Holmes was carted off the field.

Nothing was going right for the Jets on Sunday when they lost 34-0 to their NFC West foes.

Antonio Cromartie said before the season that he was the Jets' second best wide receiver. Rex Ryan already moved a running back to cornerback to fill the void that Revis left, what will he do if Holmes is out for a prolonged period of time?
