Snoop Lion's Soccer Skills Miss Mark, Rapper Can't Score on Wide-Open Goal (Video)Snoop Lion proved you can’t teach an old Dogg new tricks.

The rap star showed that his soccer skills need work when he twice failed to score from the penalty spot. Should we even mention that there was no goalkeeper?

Snoop Lion, formerly known as Snoop Dogg, appeared on ESPN’s campus Wednesday to show off what hours of playing video-game soccer have taught him. He promised to show fans a couple of “trick shots,” but they lacked an end product.

The 40-year-old hit the bar with both shots before finally scoring from closer range on the third attempt.

While Snoop’s technique may have lacked authenticity, his attire certainly did not. He was decked out in a Spain jersey with the number 13 and the name “Snoop Lion” on the back. Unfortunately, looking the part is one thing. Playing the part is something completely different.
