The New England Patriots will see a familiar face this week, as John Parry is scheduled to referee their matchup on Sunday against the Bills.
For those who don't remember Parry, he was the official that worked Super Bowl XLVI between the Patriots and Giants just a few months ago. There were a total of ten accepted penalties in that game, which we shouldn't have to remind you of the result. Parry was also a side judge for Super Bowl XLI between the Colts and Bears.
Parry's appearance on Sunday depends on whether the new agreement between the referees and the NFL is ratified. No need to worry though NFL fans, as all is expected to go according to plan and there won't be a need for replacement officials for at least the next eight years. That isn't to say, however, that there won't be a few calls that we don't agree with.
Other officials working the game include Dan Ferrell, Derick Bowers, Rusty Baynes, Scott Edwards, Ron Torbert and Perry Pagnelli, according to the official blog of the Bills.
