TD Garden Parquet Floor Shipped Out to Get Refinished for 2012-13 Season (Photo)

Basketball season is only a few weeks away, and excitement is in the air — or at least on the back of a truck.

The legendary parquet floor was shipped out of the TD Garden to be refinished for the 2012-13 season, and the Celtics tweeted a photo of the shipping preparations from their official Twitter account. Hopefully that flatbed truck gets a police escort and there is no rain in the forecast to damage that hallowed ground.

Hallowed "ground," get it? Because it's a floor!
