Different offseason, same storyline.

For the second straight year, the Red Sox enter the offseason in search of a new manager, as the team parted ways with Bobby Valentine on Thursday.

Sox general manager Ben Cherington and president Larry Lucchino stressed the importance of creating a culture change going forward. And while they don't blame Valentine for all of Boston's struggles this season, they do know that the club needs a fresh start.

NESN's Tom Caron caught up with both Cherington and Lucchino shortly after Valentine's departure was announced. Check out what they had to say in the video above.
