Boston College, Wake Forest Soccer Squads to Battle in Winston-Salem Saturday NightThe Boston College Eagles and Wake Forest Demon Deacons will take to the pitch in a key midseason matchup in the ACC at 8 p.m. Saturday on NESN.

BC enters the game led by senior forward Charlie Rugg. The Roslindale, Mass., native is tied for seventh in the conference with four goals.

Entering Saturday's clash, BC sits at 5-3-2 overall, and 1-1-1 in ACC play, good enough for fifth in the standings. The Eagles played rival Harvard to a 1-1 draw Tuesday and will enter Saturday's contest unbeaten in their last four matches.

Wake Forest is two points ahead of BC in the ACC, riding a six-game unbeaten streak heading into the weekend. The Demon Deacons are ranked 15th in the nation, and are unbeaten at home. Goalie Michael Lisch leads the conference with seven shutouts so far in 2012.
