This fall has had four series, the full 20 games, rallies, walk-offs, upsets and anything else you can think of — one of the most exciting divisional rounds in recent memory.
In years past, the ALDS and NLDS have often served as stepping stones for elite teams as they advance in the playoffs, but this year's version did not disappoint and instead provided excitement the entire time, leaving memories that will stick for years to come.
As well as most of the games going down to the last pitch, the divisional round also left moments that rank among the best — or most interesting — in playoff history.
Remember Ichiro Suzuki's "slide"? Coco Crisp making the Tigers think they could be headed home early? CC Sabathia and Justin Verlander defining "ace"? There's plenty to choose from when it comes to figuring out which moment was 2012's best.
