Bruins fans are anxiously waiting for the NHL lockout to end. They are also anticipating what the future careers of Dougie Hamilton and Malcolm Subban will bring.

Head coach Claude Julien has had plenty of time on his hands lately, and he's used some of it to keep an eye on his young prospects.

Hamilton, a 6-foot-5 defenseman, was drafted ninth overall in 2011. If the Bruins do have a season in 2012-13, he could very well crack the NHL roster. He is playing for the Niagara Ice Dogs in the OHL right now.

Subban was drafted 24th overall in 2012, and the Bruins hope to develop him into a solid NHL goaltender.
