Dwight Howard is already finding out what it's like to be a winner in Los Angeles, but it really doesn't have anything to do with the Lakers.
Instead, it's the Lakers' Staples Center roommates (no, not the Clippers), who let the new Lakers center finally get close to a trophy that wasn't won on an individual effort.
Howard was among Lakers players who got a chance to hang out with the Stanley Cup recently, an opportunity he and Metta World Peace jumped at.
Then there was this from World Peace.
Metta World Peace asked if George Washington had ever touched the Stanely Cup. He was upset that he hadn't.
