Giants Fans Turn to Bonfires, General Mayhem to Celebrate San Francisco's World Series Win (Photos)It was cold in the Motor City on Sunday night, but San Francisco was doing just fine.

The Giants polished off the Tigers in Game 4 of the World Series on Sunday, and while the players had to stay in Detroit to celebrate their second championship in three years, their fans at home quickly took to the streets of San Francisco.

Giants fans grabbed some booze to celebrate with the team from miles away, then decided to make another sporting event out of it and light some things on fire.

At first, it appeared to be a fun scene across the Bay Area, panda faces included — and then the general mayhem and physical injury showed up. While some of the fire-lighting and carousing was under control, there were also reports of Giants fans behaving badly.

Check out the range of emotion during a wild Sunday night in San Francisco.
