Ian Rapoport Attacked by Errant Football While Working Sidelines Prior to Packers-Texans Game (Video)

Everyone knows that being an NFL player, you're gambling with your health every time you step on the field.

Sideline reporters, however? Probably not going to make a list of most hazardous professions.

That being said, NFL reporter Ian Rapoport got a reminder that yes, indeed, even staying outside the white lines doesn't guarantee safety when you're around football. Prior to Sunday's game between the Packers and Texans in Houston, Rapoport was just doing his thing, filing a report as the teams warmed up pregame, when a (presumably) errant football managed to find him right in the middle of his segment.

So long as no one actually gets hurt, it's always funny to see someone get hit with a ball (and brings to mind this classic Simpsons moment), so check out the hilarious results in the video below.
