Infield Fly Rule Call Among Top 10 Worst Calls in MLB Postseason History (Video Gallery)

Infield Fly Rule Call Among Top 10 Worst Calls in MLB Postseason History (Video Gallery)The infield fly call in the wild card playoff game between Atlanta and St. Louis has a lot of people unhappy.

Despite the Cardinals playing well and winning 6-3, the postseason's enduring memory will now be of the umpires' performance in their game against the Braves, where a controversial infield fly rule call seemed to squash a Braves rally.

The incident has baseball fans saying the call is the worst ever, but as bad as Friday night was, it's certainly not the worst. Baseball allows the human element to control the flow and outcome of a game, opening the door for mistakes and controversy at even worse levels.

Over the course of Major League Baseball's illustrious history, the umpires who dedicate their lives to making the calls right have often gotten them wrong. Many baseball fans have accepted that mistakes and blown calls are part of the game, but it's a different issue when the calls start deciding the outcome of a game.

The 2012 MLB postseason has since added to the infield fly debacle with a questionable call on a Nate McLouth foul ball and another on a Robinson Cano tag at second base.

Where do they rank all-time among the worst?
