Jets Receiver Chaz Schilens Calls Fans' Chants for Tim Tebow 'BS,' Rex Ryan Sticking With Mark SanchezThe New York Jets are in disarray, and things are so bad that Jets fans are calling on the team to put Tim Tebow in at quarterback. You know, the owner of a career 47.5 completion percentage.

Jets fans were calling on the team to put in No. 15 on Sunday afternoon in a 30-9 loss to the Dolphins, chanting the backup's name. Those chants fell on deaf ears, though, with Mark Sanchez remaining in the game.

One Jets receiver understands the fans' frustration, but he also has some strong words about any chants calling for Tebow to replace Sanchez.

"That chant is BS," wideout Chaz Schilens told Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. "I think the fans are out of place. They're pissed. They have a right to be pissed."

Head coach Rex Ryan certainly isn't being swayed by those chants.

"Offensively, the problems aren't one man," Ryan told reporters on Monday morning. "If it was one man, that would be easy to do. But it's not on one person. Sometimes, we're accurate with the football [and] we drop some passes. Sometimes, the pass might not have been as accurate as we wanted it to be. Then there's times when our protection let us down."

Ryan also reaffirmed that Sanchez is the starter — sort of.

"I think Mark's our guy. I don't think there's any doubt about that. I'm confident in Mark. We just got to look at it as a whole. … Are there things that we can to do help?"

Sanchez was 28-for-54 for 283 yards, a touchdown and an interception on Sunday.
