NHL and NHLPA Will Discuss New CBA Proposal Thursday as Fans Weigh in on Twitter

When the NHL announced the proposal for a new collective bargaining agreement on Tuesday, hockey fans everywhere felt their hearts beat just a little bit faster.

The new CBA would call for a 50-50 split of hockey-related revenue, and if the NHL and NHLPA can come to an agreement soon, an 82-game season would begin on Nov. 2.
