Patriots Offense Provides Youth Football Players With Exemplary Fundamentals to Improve Their Game (Video) The New England Patriots faced a third-and-17 from their own 43-yard line against the Denver Broncos on Oct. 7 and called upon Danny Woodhead to scamper ahead for a 19-yard gain and a first down.

The run ultimately lead to a touchdown that put the Patriots ahead 24-7, and was a game-changing play in an important victory. Weeks after the play was originally drawn up, the third-down run was spotlighted in USA Football’s NFL Films Big Play Breakdown.
