The Patriots ventured across the Atlantic in the NFL's yearly foray into London on Sunday, and made a big statement to NFL fans worldwide.

With a 45-7 pounding at the expense of the St. Louis Rams, New England heads into its bye week with a one game lead over the Miami Dolphins atop the AFC East. Following their week off, the Pats will do battle in Foxboro against the Buffalo Bills, a team they've already smoked earlier this season.

What was most impressive about the game wasn't the overall dominance, but the returned balance of New England after a couple weeks off. The running game tallied over 150 yards for the Patriots on Sunday en route to the dominant win.
