The Ravens confirmed the news, also via Twitter, moments later.

Lewis suffered the injury on Sunday afternoon during the Ravens' win over the Dallas Cowboys. The All-Pro, whose career may be over with this injury, is just the latest impact player on the Ravens' defense to suffer an injury. Linebacker Terrell Suggs remains out with an Achilles tear, while cornerback Lardarius Webb is also expected to be out for the season with a reported torn ACL he suffered Sunday.
Defensive tackle Haloti Ngata has a knee injury of his own, but the Ravens don't expect him to miss much time, if any.
