The Patriots' most versatile offensive weapon should be back on the field on Sunday.
Aaron Hernandez is expected to play on Sunday according to Greg Bedard from the Boston Globe.
The Patriots' tight end practiced on Wednesday and Thursday, but sat out on Friday, which made his status against the Seahawks uncertain. Further complicating his availability is that he didn't finish either practice he participated in according to Jeff Howe from the Boston Herald.
Hernandez injured his ankle in Week 2 against the Cardinals and was expected back in four to six weeks. He faces a Seahawks team that appears to be built to stop him regardless of his injury with their oversized defensive backs and speedy linebackers, all of whom are solid in coverage against tight ends.
Check out Bedard's tweets on Hernandez' availability below.
