Report: Zdeno Chara to Make Decision on Playing Overseas 'Within the Week'Zdeno Chara
hasn't been in any hurry to join the NHL players who have already taken their talents overseas. It might not be long before the Bruins captain finally makes a move, though.

Chara's agent, Matt Keator, said that the defenseman will be making a decision on playing overseas "within the week," according to CSNNE.com.

There's been various reports when it comes to Chara's future, and as CSNNE.com points out, the veteran has several playing options on the table, including playing in his native Slovakia or in Russia's KHL. Some European reports have indicated that Chara will sign with the Prague Lions of the KHL, but nothing has been confirmed.

Chara played for Farjestads BK Karlstad of the Swedish Elite League
during the last NHL lockout in 2004-05, when he was still a member of the Ottawa
Senators.

Chara had been skating with some of his teammates in the Boston area while leading captain's practice over the past month, but it looks like decision time is approaching. Many Bruins players have already bolted overseas, and the number could continue to rise with the NHL lockout showing no signs of ending at this point.
