TCU $50K SuperFrog Statue May Get Student Body President Impeached (Photo)

Texas Christian University is set to take on West Virginia this weekend, in a game which may well have some bowl implications. But that's not what TCU, as a whole, is focused on right now.

Earlier this month TCU unveiled the statue seen below, a bronze version of its SuperFrog mascot. Not only has the statue been generally poorly received, but as TCU360.com points out, there was no formal student cabinate vote on the allocation of the $50,000 it cost to have made and erect. Likewise, the debacle may cost student body president Brent Folan his position.

We'll reserve judgement on the responsibility for the funds, but you can decide whether or not the statue itself is in good taste by checking out the image below.
