Could there be a better pairing than Terrell Owens and the Jets?

As T.O. was watching the Jets' anemic offensive effort against the Texans on Monday Night Football, Owens took to Twitter to beg New York for a shot.

Owens already had a chance with an NFL team this summer when he played for the Seahawks during the preseason, but was cut on Aug. 26. If there's any team in the league that needs a wide receiver of Owens' caliber, it's the Jets, who started Jeremy Kerley and Chaz Schilens on Monday night.

Owens has 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns in his career, but he's 38 years old and didn't show he had much left with the Seahawks. Still, the Jets look like they need to do something to get their offense back in order.

Check out Owens' tweet below.
