The Tigers certainly did not win the 2012 World Series, but the Giants still allowed a small piece of the American League champions in on their celebration.

A champagne bucket with the words "World Series Champions 2012 Detroit Tigers" made its way into the Giants' celebration, as spotted by Yahoo! Sports' Les Carpenter.

The bucket, which held two champagne bottles, was handed to Pam Baer, the wife of team president Larry Baer during the postgame celebrations. Carpenter was able to snap off a photo of what will likely be the first of many false "2012 Tigers World Series Champions" souvenirs to hit the Internet.
