Tim Tebow, Mark Sanchez Share More Than Jets Quarterback Position, Named NFL's Most Overrated PlayersTim Tebow and Mark Sanchez share a lot of things. They share a locker room, they share the glory, the criticism, they share responsibilities for the Jets on offense, and heck they even share the Jets' backfield at times. But it turns out there's one more intricate wrinkle in the quarterbacks' wayward relationship.

In a season where Sanchez and Tebow have faced an inordinate amount of scrutiny and pressure from the fans, the media and opposing defenses, it appears their NFL colleagues are now getting in on the action.

Tebow was voted as the most overrated player in football with 34 percent of the vote, according to a survey of 180 NFL players in this week's Sports Illustrated. The second-most overrated? You guessed it. Sanchez.

Sanchez actually shared the No. 2 spot with Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, both who received 8 percent of the vote. Eagles quarterback Michael Vick came in fourth with 4 percent, and Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis, who suffered a season-ending triceps tear last week against the Cowboys, came in at No. 5 with 3 percent of the vote.

Lewis was just one of three Super Bowl MVPs to receive at least one vote in the poll. Even with their combined five Super Bowl titles, Tom Brady, who received 2 percent, and Eli Manning (1 percent) were the other two former MVPs to be selected.

Although there were 48 different players named in the poll, the fact that both Sanchez and Tebow were listed as the top two is very telling of the current state of Jets football, which is in blatant turmoil.

At 3-4 on the season, the Jets still have hope for a playoff push, especially in a terribly mediocre AFC. But with Tebow and Sanchez combining for the NFL's fifth-worst passing attack, hopes can't be getting too high in the Big Apple.
