Bill Russell Tells Kyrie Irving’s ‘Uncle Drew’ to Get Team Together, Recruit Elderly Kevin Love (Video)

Kyrie Irving
has been quite the pitch man for Pepsi.

The young Cavs star has been donning a facial disguise and white hair to appear as “Uncle Drew,” who stumbles into pickup games then blows away the opposition as an elderly baller who can still dunk and shoot.

The saga is continuing with a new chapter — but this time, it isn’t just Irving who’s trying to convince the world that drinking Pepsi brings a little hop to a 60-something game. Kevin Love has joined in the fun, dressing as a teammate of Uncle Drew’s from his heyday.

The two teamed up under the premise that Uncle Drew is getting his old team back together — a move encouraged by none other than Celtics legend Bill Russell.

Russell is the classic elder statesman in the Pepsi-produced video, and Irving and Love are pretty solid on the court, no matter how old they look. Check it out in the video below.
