Basketball shoe commercials are so unimaginative lately.

Nowadays the “cinematic dunk” has become an overused trope in advertisements. Cue up a player dunking in front of a camera with a high frame rate, and you’re practically halfway to a Nike spot. And Kyrie Irving has had enough of it.

In a recent Foot Locker ad, the Cavaliers point guard expresses his displeasure with the cliche, and has a little fun with the idea. Check out Irving in slow motion in the video below.
