They may be thousands of miles away, playing on strange teams in front of different fans, but there was reason to cheer for a pair of Bruins this week.
Both Patrice Bergeron and Zdeno Chara lit the lamp in exciting fashion overseas. Bergeron snapped one far-side, trickling the puck up and over the keeper’s right-handed glove while Chara absolutely blasted a slapper nearside, nearly taking off the goalie’s left-handed catching glove.
