It’s that time of year again — a time for families and friends to come together and think about what they are thankful for.

For fans in Boston, look no further than the Bruins, Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics when taking stock of such wonderful things. Each team has given something to be grateful for this year, including timely trades, new contracts and even a few departures that will bring good news down the road.

So, in the spirit of the season, we have taken the liberty of putting together a comprehensive list of the most important things all Boston sports fans should keep in mind before diving into that 22-pound turkey, some mashed potatoes and a heaping helping of stuffing.
