The Catch. The Drive. The Save?
Tim Thomas made the play of his life in Game 5 of the 2011 Eastern Conference finals, denying Steve Downie‘s shot on an open net with a sprawling, acrobatic lunging save. By poking away Downie’s point-blank shot with his stick, Thomas ensured himself a place in hockey lore and hinted at the rest of the magic that the Bruins had in store for their fans that postseason.
