Jason Babin didn’t have to wait very long before being claimed off waivers.

The recently released Eagle was picked up by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Wednesday.

The defensive end was released by the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday and a total of eight teams put in a waiver claim on him, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Jacksonville was awarded Babin’s services because the team holds the worst record among teams that placed a claim.

Babin has totaled just 5.5 sacks this season after he posted 18 in 2011. The two-time Pro-Bowler is due another $1.64 million this season.
