Tom Sestito’s Agent, Scott Norton, Tweets Joke About Nathan Horton That Upsets Many Bruins Fans

Bruins fans received some good news over the weekend, as Nathan Horton‘s agent revealed that the Boston forward will be “ready to go” whenever the NHL starts back up. The news also welcomed a rather distasteful jab from a different agent, though.

Scott Norton, the agent for Flyers winger Tom Sestito, re-tweeted an ESPN.com story about Horton’s good health, and said to stay out of his client’s way next time.

Horton, of course, suffered a concussion when Sestito hit him in the head during the teams’ Jan. 22 matchup. The blow, which went unpenalized, ended Horton’s season and led to plenty of concern regarding the winger’s health, especially when you consider the ongoing health issues plaguing Marc Savard. Apparently, such concern wasn’t enough to stop Norton from taking the little dig , though.

Norton went on to defend himself in a series of tweets and re-tweets, even claiming that he loves the Bruins’ style of play and that his comment wasn’t meant to come off poorly. But to many B’s fans, it did come off poorly, and Norton’s hatred for the Red Sox certainly won’t help matters either.
