Texas Tech coach Tommy Tuberville may have been upset, but the displaced hat and headset of his assistant is probably far less worse than what Tuberville will face after a display of — ahem — emotion on Saturday.
Tuberville was not pleased after his team got caught with 12 men on the field during a pivotal 4th-and-2, and he let an assistant know it, flipping the assistant’s hat and headset off as he berated him. The verbal lashing continued as the assistant reached over to pick up his displaced hardware and put it back on.
Tuberville will likely be hearing about the move from the league or school’s disciplinarians — or anyone concerned with basic decency.
