Compared to the astronomical contracts given to MLB and NBA stars, the money NHL players take home is considered chump change.
While NHL stars may make much less than their counterparts in other sports, the league’s top players still make a pretty penny in salary and endorsements each year. Forbes recently released a list of the highest-paid professional hockey players and it included talents like Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin.
