Bills Tight End Lee Smith Gets Swallowed Up by Stands After Fans Forget to Catch Him (Animation)

There’s a reason it’s called the Lambeau Leap and not the Ralph Wilson Stadium Leap.

While NFL players celebrating a touchdown often jump into the stands to interact with some lucky fans, most of the fans are smart enough to catch said player. Key word: most.

In Sunday’s Bills-Rams game in Buffalo, tight end Lee Smith caught a touchdown pass and wanted to make the leap into the Bills’ faithful. But, for whatever reason, the fans weren’t ready for the backup tight end’s plunge.
