Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: So, Jesus walks into a darts tournament in England…

A “Jesus look-alike” was kicked out of a live-televised dart match in England when the 4,500 in attendance began chanting “Jesus” at him, according to The Daily Mail.

The report indicated that officials didn’t want the clash between Phil “The Power” Taylor and Kim Huybrechts to be distracted by the chants, so security found the bearded “culprit,” Nathan Grindal, and escorted him out of the venue. He watched the end of the match — the Cash Converters Players’ Championship — at a nearby bar.

“I didn’t go to the darts dressed as Jesus — I went as me,” he told The Daily Mail. “It was all very weird and distressing. I didn’t break down crying but I did get emotionally distraught.

“They were bullying me and picking on me, saying that I was someone else,” he added. “It would have been okay if the security hadn’t made a fuss getting me out of the arena. I was evicted for something I have no control over. I felt discriminated against.”

Even though Grindal enjoyed his 15 seconds of fame and posed for photos and signed autographs (his name, not “Jesus”), he may never be able to attend his beloved dart matches again.

“I love darts, but I’m worried about ever going to see it live again, just in case the crowd turns on me like they did last time.”

The YouTube comments were pretty funny, too, as seen below.

  • Jesus should have turned all their wine into water before was forced to leave.
  • The freakiest part about this? He’s 33 years old.
  • Oh good lord….don’t mess with the Jesus.
  • I really cannot believe what I just laid my eyes on……….there was THAT many people at a DARTS tournament???
  • The Messiah should be allowed to watch a game of darts without being heckled.

Someone even managed to record a video of the incident, seen here:
