Kyrie Irving may be one of the brightest young stars in the NBA, and a master at running the point, but he clearly has a thing or two to learn about social media.
On Christmas, Irving’s account tweeted out the photo below, which features the 20-year-old sitting with two young women on his lap. All three look to be enjoying their merry selves.
Soon after the photo went out, Irving took to tweeting himself, claiming that someone else had posted the photo on his account. Moreover, he profusely apologized to his wife, claiming that he would “never” post something like that.

One might reasonably ask precisely what Irving is appalled at — is it taking the photo, or that he got caught? But either way, the photo is out there on the Internet for all to see despite being deleted by Irving.
