Bicycles: they can do it all, from delivering newspapers, to transporting extraterrestrial creatures, to going off “sweet jumps.”
Believe it or not, Heat star LeBron James — one of the wealthiest athletes on the planet — has a bike, and it sounds like he prefers it over his six-figure automobiles.
On many occasions, James has been spotted taking his bike to and from home games in Miami. It’s starting to become clear that the bike is his not-so-secret secret to staying in tip-top shape.
In Miami’s comeback win over the Timberwolves on Tuesday night, James scored 22 points, dished 11 assists and grabbed six rebounds in 42 minutes of action.
“I felt great,” James told the Sun Sentinel. “I didn’t get tired. I don’t think I got tired [Tuesday] night. I felt great. I could have played again if we had to. Yeah, I’ve been biking a little more than usual. It’s fun. It’s also conditioning, it’s cardio.”
